The Management, through the Representative of the Management Systems, co-ordinates and integrates actions involving all the company processes by both periodically defining specific improvement objectives and stimulating the involvement, dedication and co-operation of all Carcano's staff.
This activity develops by means of a programme providing activities of analysis, planning, implementation, monitoring and control of the objectives for each process. To be able to pursue these objectives, the General Management has appointed the Persons-in-Charge of the different management systems, who report directly to him and act together to achieve the set goals monitoring their evolution by means of appropriate indicators.

The development programme's goals relate to:
- constant improvement of product and service quality according to the evolution of customers' needs;
- optimization of the company processes to satisfy all the parties concerned;
- control of contamination risks of all products for the food and pharmaceutical industries;
- sustainable development of the company through the best available technologies;
- sensitizing, informing and training the company's staff;
- improvement of working conditions also through the prevention and reduction of risks;
- observance of laws and regulations in force;
- monitoring and evaluation of the systems' suitability and efficiency.
