Delebio, December 2007
On the 11th of December Carcano unveiled the new pedestrian flyover which makes it possible for its employees to cross the very busy straight road just outside the factory to go from the parking area and canteen to the working place and back.
When the project was announced, a great worry spread in the community of Delebio and among the lovers of the local landscape.
After its accomplishment all fear was banished. Its airy character, light, nearly "transparent", met with general approval. It is a beautiful piece of work which does not disturb the environment, on the contrary it refines that stretch of road.
Once again, rewarding aesthetics and renouncing inexpensiveness, Carcano has shown ist respect and attachment for the environment.
